You can visit the historic towns of Rolle Town, Rolleville (site of a revolt led by a famous slave named Pompey), Forbes Hill and Williams Town to see ruins of old cotton plantations and colonial tombs. Stroll around George Town and stop at Elizabeth Harbour and Lake Victoria. Cross over to Stocking Island and climb up a sand dune to the old navigational beacon.
