Regattas

The sea truly can be a cruel mistress. Just ask all the captains of the sunken ships found on or near our shores. Maybe that’s why regattas in The Bahamas are such challenges. For over half a century, amateur captains from all over the world have been gracing our waters every year to take part. They come to see if they have what it takes to master the wind and conquer whatever the sea throws at them, all in the hope of standing tall on the winner’s podium. Of course you don’t have to be an old sea dog to compete; regattas in The Bahamas have many different experience classes. Or if you don’t have any sea legs, there are lots of exciting activities and festivities to enjoy before, during and after the regatta begins. At our regattas, there’s something for everyone because….It’s Better In The Bahamas.
